K9 Dojo provides behavior modification, adjusted to each individual dog and their needs. With every event in your dogs’ life there is opportunity for reaction: sometimes dogs have learned to react in an unacceptable way, such as barking, biting, chewing, jumping, or through aggression. We help teach your dog that there is a more suitable reaction, and at the same time we help to strengthen and highlight the positive behaviors that any good dog should display.
Potential behavioral problems your dog may have:
- Aggression towards strangers or other dogs or animals
- Possessiveness over toys, food, water or other objects
- Obsessive compulsive behaviors
- Fear or phobia-based behavior
- Biting, chewing and destructive behavior
After initial examination, we will determine the best course of action for correcting your dog’s behavior. Behavior modification may take one session or several, depending on your dog’s specific behavior(s). We will also provide you with the know-how and skills to continue reinforcing good behavior at home.
