K9 Dojo’s Beginner On-leash program teaches beginner and intermediate level training commands at a more complex level, offering a more well-trained and balanced pet. This level of training is great for dogs and their owners who like to spend time within dog parks, out together in the city, or if you enjoy having company over. Wouldn’t it be great to tell your dog to “leave it” when you see them running for that mud puddle in the dog park? Or to “Come” when you are ready to go home instead of chasing them? And to have those commands be effective?
Teaching a dog in one environment doesn’t guarantee that they will be able to transfer their training to other environments unless you guide them to understand and for this reason we teach your dog within a multitude of environments, and with differing levels of distraction. Beginner On-Leash training is available for every dog of every skill level and age to take. Our Beginner On-leash package offers the building blocks to expand with our Advanced on-leash, or any Off-leash programs, if you so choose. Beginner on-leash offers 2 hours of behaviour modification for no extra cost, if required.
